Dialouge unit 5

How long will you be, Mateu? Can we go now?

Not yet. I'm looking for a DVD for my brother. He's into movies.

Can I see?

Yes. What do you think of this?

It's OK. Who's it by?

This one's by Hitchcock. It's called Vertigo.

That one's better

Do you think so?

Yes it's more interesting. The other one's a bit boring.

Yes, I think you're right. Thanks Shaun.

Dialoguge unit 4

That's amazing! Is that your photo Eva?

Yes, do you like it?

Yeah. How did you make the photo?

I was having a walk when these people started doing great magic tricks and then I made my photo.

Really? Why were they doing that?

It was a show.

Did you try it?

You're kidding! I can't do magic tricks.

Yeah, well it's a great photo. Well done

Immediatley Rosa is arrested and sent to prison. Black citizens were angry so they decided to protest. They wouldn't take the bus. 75% of bus passengers were black so, without them buses would lose money.

Finally, segregation on buses was abolished and for the first time, black and white people could sit together on a bus. This was a small victory but it sparked the civil rights movement that was soon to come with the civil rights legend, Martin Luther King Jr.
